I really want to be good at video games. My hubby is really just a gamer god and our son is getting there, but sadly... me... not so much.
When we got Rockband I thought, Oh yeah! I can DO THIS!
Um... not. I thought hey, drums look pretty simple & noone plays those around here yet. Yes, I failed the drum tutorial 9 times before the boys finally gave up on me & I could quit. See, it was one of those moments where you keep trying in an attempt to impress upon the hopeful youth that w/ enough perseverance you can do ANYTHING! Wow, that was a looong 30 minutes.
But, persist I did. Im still not great, but I can now play drums, bass, guitar & sing - and noone runs screaming.
