My house is small... A few years ago while thinking about a new couch and arangement in my house a salesman gave me a thought process.... I knew from that point on I wanted a white curved sectional couch, but it had to be small...and I like expensive, and cool! A couple of years ago, I went to a high end furniture store that had just moved to a new location... I found the style I wanted... But the cost was over $3000... I would NEVER pay that kind of money for a couch... so totally beyond my reach, that it was not even considered...
It had to be white to go with my dark colored walls... they are kind of a taupe /grey color. I eventually lost interest, knowing it was never going to happen... So I purchased a black slip cover for the yucky colored love seat, and went on with life... the Love seat was totally useless, and no one ever sat on it...
So along came the Pizza oven (part of the Oscraps Birthday conversations the other day) a little bit before Christmas... and the need for a place to store it....
So one day I strolled into the local consignment shop looking for Sideboards... Imagine my surprise when I rounded the corner and there was the couch I had lusted after..!!!!. It was white, and although I did not like the fabric, I knew I was never going to get any closer to finding what I wanted at a price I could possibly afford...maybe?... It looked Brand new, and it was priced at $699!!!! Turned out it was a month old... the people who had custom ordered it had moved and it no longer fit their home... I could NOT believe my luck! I finally figured out how I could pay for it, and the store delivered it... That was when I discovered how deceiving the size was... MUCH larger than I had thought... But I LOVE it!!
