Process notes for Photoshop Elements 14

The Long Goodbye with a beloved friend (Charley is over 17, with multiple illnesses), is hard, and this page journals about that. I used the template as is, just nudging the position of the critical photo layers toward the left, which made it possible to blend in another photo at the top right. I used three artsy papers to make the background (#1, #3, and #5), using blending modes and layer masks to set up some space for my journaling. I wound up clipping one transfer to another and liked the look of creased stationary, so that worked out well for me. I added the title next and kept on playing with the transfers and overlays until I got the layered look that I like. The clocks obviously symbolize the passage of time. At the end I dropped a sepia stain over the large photo so it would look a little faded.
