2016 10 Years from now???

Where will I be in 10 years??? it is certainly not my favorite thing to be thinking about... Although I actually find myself thinking about this a LOT and wondering....? 5 years ago I refinanced my house with a 10 year ARM...my thought process at the time, was that surely in 10 years I would need to be moving closer to family and perhaps into a retirement place, certainly not caring for a property all by myself... as you may recall I removed the front lawn last year, so I would not have to mow any longer! My Mom was just short of 95 when she died, so if I live as long as she did, I have a ways to go, but once I hit 70 , it was like someone flipped a switch! all of a sudden I had a DR! !! and he was finding things that were not what I wanted to hear... so that has made me VERY aware of just how uncertain life can be... It has been almost 19 years since my husband died, and it seems like yesterday... if the next 10 go as quickly they will be gone in a heartbeat... Since I have no family here, my long range plan is to move to Folsom, where my daughter lives... but first I have to find that book by the Japanese lady and figure out her Kon Mari method of downsizing... being a life long saver of things I might need, it is a huge challenge for me, but I am slowly adjusting my mind to it.. at the moment I cannot imagine moving by myself across the street, let alone down to Folsom...

You have a gift of putting it into words... Some of your thoughts are identical to mine with a few adjustments. I like that you are facing the challenges with care and thought... Lovely smiling photo summing it up!!

Wow, your journaling is so heartfelt, honest and moving. The layout is beautiful and has so much life to it with the pretty florals and colors. I like you being in a globe as if looking into the future. Lovely and meaningful.

I recognize your sorrows! But there is this Dutch proverb:
'man suffers most from the suffering he fears, but never appears'
Love the layout and the heartfelt journaling. Hugs to you.
