Talk about the photos background. In Fall of 2012, my husband and I were on a five day trip to China. We were in Shenzhen, which is very close to Hong Kong. Since I had never been there before we decided to take a look around. But since neither of us could speak Cantonese, taking the subway would have been a little risky. So instead we just looked around the local area. We saw piers like the pictured Star Ferry Pier (or however the name is translated), food vendors, monuments, and many other things. We also spent two hours in line waiting for afternoon tea at the famous Peninsula Hotel. It was worth the wait!
