Process: I changed my approach to color for this POTD two page spread once I realized that the soft green paper in AP Arrive blended so well with the color of the quilt on my bed. But I think the white in the artsy transfer on the left page helps to link the different backgrounds of the two pages. I made some adjustments on this template, resizing the large mask, duplicating the little vertical frame and adding a mask from FotoInspired Masks No. 3. It would appear I have a lot to say this week:) Im experimenting with the idea that my family might want to know why I chose these particular photos as POTD. On the shot of me, I placed a white mask that I created with the rectangular marquee tool, placed it over the old desk behind me and reduced the opacity to make the journaling more readable. I blended it into the other photo by attaching a layer mask to the little white rectangle I drew. On the photo of my middle grandson at the top left, I used Artsy Transfers Arrive_4. I describe my process for creating artsy kardz with the artsy transfers in a video that I created for Annas YouTube channel. You can find the video here. I also used layers from transfers_1, 2 and 4 in three places just above AP Arrive solid paper_4 to create a foundation for my buttons. I placed three different buttons, recolored, over the transfer layers. Since these two pages are meant to be viewed together, you might say that the buttons create multiple visual triangles if you include the buttons on the left page.

Thanks for looking:)
For me the journaling is a huge deal. I love your journaling and how it adds so much to this page.

I love your two pages, the close up of the feet is precious! I love your journaling! I too think it is import to practice with your camera. Have fun! your photos are awesome!

I love that you include lots of journaling in this. Love the hue of green that you used - so soft and calming. beautiful spread Linda.

love the b&w photo in the center and the shells. i also really like the idea of writing on your where-i-stand photo ... an excellent design choice.
