Even when Cora is not in her weekly dance class, she loves to wear her dancing costume and twirl through the house.

The Process: I began with the Artsy Paper from AP Love Story. I placed the photo, and played around with the frame, situating it so that Cora was placed at the right edge of the frame. I attached the photo to the clipping mask of the frame, but didnt like how overpowering the photo background was, so I tried the different blend modes on the clipping mask, and decided to use Linear Dodge. I then duplicated the photo, and painted in just Cora using blend mode Normal. I duplicated the photo once more, and placing it under the clipping mask, painted in some of the background areas that fell outside the frame. This photo layer was placed on blend mode darker color, to darken in the areas around Coras TuTu. I liked the linear design of the Artsy Paper, and emphasized it by adding the Urban Stitches both above and below the photo. I added the WordART, and the WordTransfers, along with the various MultiMedia Heart elements. I added the Title, adding a stroke in white, and then adding a shadow. I added the Urban Hearts and the journaling, but felt it was missing something. I decided to blend in another photo of Cora in the background to help balance out the page. I placed the photo on blend mode Overlay, and then using the inverse masking method, blended in just her face, and enough of the background to help her face pop on the page. It was quite light, so I duplicated the photo, and played around with its opacity until the image was as dark as I wanted it to be.
