Fifteen years ago, everything seemed so high tech, so edgy, but in many ways, yet innocent at the same time. Sure, we were all a bit apprehensive over Y2K, but for the most part, life revolved around Scott and Caitlyn. They were 4 and 2, so there was not much option about the matter. There were many times during these early mom -years that I would wish that I could fast forward until they were older and I didnt have to be totally consumed by their lives. Fifteen years later. Wow. Scott and Cait are 18 and 16. Independent. Busy with school, with work, with their own lives. But even as they grow older, I am blessed (and relieved!) that we are closer than ever, and about as quirky as we were back then.
PS: My advice to all new parents is that fifteen years, goes FAST!!!!!
