My old Bar BQ was several years old... It had served me very well, I had replaced the burner just 2 years ago..., it also looked nice as you can see... But the guts were totally rusting away... I usually cook with the lid down and my food looked as if black pepper had been sprinkled on it , no matter how hard I scrubbed the inside of the lid with a wire brush... So I decided to take advantage of the Labor Day sales on Bar BQs... at my first stop I saw this one... it said it had an infra red burner, which sounded different and interesting... I spent the day shopping and kept coming back to this one... could have bought one very similar that was just a regular one grill for about the same price... I put it together within a couple of days, but have yet to fire it up... It seems there are lot of steps to be done before using it, and on-going maintenance... The funny thing is, Janices friend Mary Ann bought the same grill , and she has not tried hers yet either!!! In fact she had Janice over
recently and cooked on her old grill... As for me... I sold mine at my Garage sale, so I have NOT
been barbecuing for awhile now!!! !!
