For this Challenge we had to scrap about a holiday memory in the past. This memory of Santa coming to our house on the firetruck is truly a multi-generation one. Lorie's kit was a perfect choice for this challenge and photo. I used a left justification text box to balance the frame and brushwork on the page.
Journaling Reads:
For as long as I can remember, Christmas Eve was always spent at my house. My dad was a firefighter and the fireman brought Santa around the neighborhood on the fire truck. Santa gave us presents and candy. After the firemen returned Santa home, they came to my house for food and drinks. Forty years later, this tradition still goes on. My best friend has been coming to my moms house for too many years to count. In the past 18 years to present, we bring our kids out there, starting as babies and now as they are teens . Since we are still kids at heart, it is also a tradition that Jenn and I have to get our picture taken with Santa too.
