I have touched on this before here... in 2010 I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer and told that unless I started immediate treatment I did not have 6 weeks... with a newly turned 6 year old and an 8 year old this was not good... It turned my fight into more than just survival, it became a fight to give my kids a legacy of courage and strength they might one day need...
My page is about how I chose to spend what may have been my last days. Happily, I am doing well now and in the final stages of reconstruction, with medication and cancer retreating into my distant past... :-D
