I think Lukes figured it out. Hes not showing the same interest in Santa, Easter or the St Patricks Day leprechauns as Ella is. If Im honest, I think Ella knows too, but shes fighting it it. Shes a dreamer with an an awesome imagination and just doesnt want to let the magic go. I dont blame her. St Patricks Day came and went this year with out any fanfare...No green hair because there was no school, and she even forgot to set out her Leprechaun house due to a late night. She was so bummed that the little green guys didnt make a visit and decided to put it out the following night, carefully providing drinks and pretzels, only to be disappointed again. Shes just so much happier believing I think, and while I accept the inevitable, Im not sure shes ready for that reality check just yet. Shes always the one to start a sentence with, Wouldnt it be awesome if..., and then make some outrageously imaginative statement. Its hard to know when the right time will be. Im just observing at this point and waiting for a sign. And I just hope that she forgives me when the time comes for me to share the truth and trusts I always had her best interests at heart. What a beautiful photo of Ella - she looks so full of life and happiness. It's hard when they're between believing and growing up. Our grandchildren are in the same space. Beautiful, soft layout!

double photo is wonderful here... and the journaling is so sweet... hope her spirit continues to have such zing... her smile tells it all... imagine she'll figure out how to enjoy the moments in spite of it all... at 60 she'll still be coloring eggs and leaving cookies for Santa... just because... love this page Anna...

great journaling, love how you did the title in combination with the brush

I like this Anna...so simple and the colors are so different...striking, pretty are words that come to mind!

this is a wonderful bit of parental musing. you never really realize how HARD it is to know what the right thing to do is about Santa and the Easter Bunny....
