JMD Challenge 1

I struggled with the execution of this layout. I liked the idea...I think the pictures represent it well, but for the life of me I couldn't get the layout to flow. Don't know why!!

Paper is from TaylorMade "Touch of Grey"
Word Art is from Jodie McNally's Retro Freebie
Frames from Jodie McNally's "Dud-ulrific Frames"

I think that Ive always been a bit of a seesaw. I was a bad girl for a while. Then, I found my youth group and spent most of my time with my friends from church. Years later, I think that Ive found a balance in mylife. I like to have fun still, but I may not get stopped by Mall Cops anymore. I know where most boundaries are. I may ignore a few of them now and again, but I still consider myself an upstanding young adult....or just an adult!!!
Sara I think you've done a great job ... love the oversized blended background photo ... and you did a great job with your journaling ... I LOVE your analogy with the see-saw & finding the balance in life ... WONDERFUL!!!

Oh I think this LO flows- the journaling really pulls it together --
And yes, balance, we all need that!

I like how it came together. The large blended photo in the back ground is awesome. GREAT work!!!

great job - sometimes when i'm scrapping i feel that way - just can't seem to get it right.....but i think this looks good! sometimes i just try to remind myself that getting it scrapped is the important part...and that i might not love every single layout i do, kwim? but, you got it done...and it looks good!! thanks so much for all of your participation this week! i really appreciate it! :) xoxoxoxo

Sara this is Fabulous!!!!!!!!! I love the doodle frame that you used....gives it the idea of being a balance weight! Oh my word...all the long gorgeous hair you had WOW!!! :)

Great layout, Sara! I like the design showing who you were and who you've become. Your journaling is fab :).

Love the large blended photo as well! and also the photos you have included of who you were and who you have become, I like the way you have used the graphics to outline these photos, to show their importance. I think the overall layout is great! (and I am with Katg on how gorgeous your long hair was!) :)
