To create this layout, I started with the photo of the kids sledding and one of the clipping masks from the Frosted Memories Bundle by et designs, which I rotated. I used a clipping mask in Photoshop to clip the photo to the mask. Because the kids are sledding downhill and to the left, I decided to position them on the right side of the page.
Next, I found one of the sketches to line up against the right side of the hill in the photo, to extend the hill. Once I got that where I wanted, I experimented with papers from the bundle until I found one I liked. The colors in this background paper make the hill feel more dimensional.
Then I added a snowy overlay everywhere but the photo. I used elements to create a vertical cluster along the right side. I added a word strip, some sequins, some snowflakes, and the word art title.
