Process:

APP sp5 was placed on a new document, followed by the Family Tree template frames, masks, and shadows, and overlay. All other layers were turned off.

APP Bouquet transfer 1 was placed, and duplicated several times, rotated/flipped to create a branch design. Transfer 2 was added, also AT 2 layers were added to enhance the APP transfer. Bouquet WA floral was placed and recolored.

Photos were edited and clipped to the masks, with added levels/hue/saturation adjustments.

Stitched Korners were placed under the frames acting at family tree connections, as well as UrbanStitchezHearts 4_2, 6, 9.

Thanks for looking

I really like this idea. Not everyone has to be on the family tree in a pictorial version. This is so perfect. My nephew is the only one interested in the family stuff so I might "lift" your idea for a layout for him (he's a grownup, not a kid).

Yes, I agree. Some trees I've seen are overwhelming. The simplistic idea of this felt just right. I turned off all the extra threads since they seemed "too much" for what I wanted to share. I hope to see your version/lift. Thank you for your kind words!

I wasn't aware aA had a family tree template until I read your process more closely! I used bits & pieces from my stash to create my l/o. My nephew seemed pleased to see his grandparents (my parents) and their parents. My dad's father has no image b/c for many decades no one knew who he was. Research has at least given us a name.

I don't see an "attach image" icon anywhere so can't post it!!!! It's on my device,, not in the gallery and I have no "link" to use.

Beverly, after looking at the photos and then I saw your photo at the bottom of the page (I think); it reminded me of my older sister's HS pic and the pose, the hairstyle are exactly the same! She graduated in 1963. Wonderful LO!

Charlene, yes, that is me, at Sophomore year of college, 1966/7. A dorm friend who was very good at styling, styled by hair for the photo. Lots of "teasing" and hair spray. :DThank you very much!
