It was an photo of a dawn so very dark. I made it lighter with Camera raw.
When I saw that awesome frame in Irma's kit. I decide to make a OOb of an old snow photo of my dog. I copied the photo, move it above the frame and reverse masked it (Alt click on mask icon). Gave that layer a drop shadow and made a layer of it so i also could mask it

There were real winters in the end of the noughties . low temperatures below zero (32F) and much snow that lasted for weeks. I so love the feeling of fresh snow below my feet that Wolf and Punk walked with me. They didn't suffer from cold feet. Wolf loved snow, running, playing and...rolling in that cold stuff. We walked a lot to the loose (dog) areas in my neighborhood..
