That butterfly was on the back of the lady in front of me. They are brown on the outer side of their wings so they have to be landed or landing in order to see the blue. You take 'em when you can :)

WOW!!!!!! Twin this is beautiful!!!!! I love the butterflies all around the page that you framed. The photo treatment is super cool and then to add that extracted butterfly on top of it. So stunning. Your butterfly photos look like they are part of the background! I am in awe of this layout.

AWW thank you Twin! I've been wanting to use that bg paper and then I wasted a bunch of time trying to dim its light which was dumb. I was jazzed when I masked the photos. I just couldn't let that butterfly live on the page without its color.

wowswers Jeanne, what a beautiful riot of colour! absolutely stunning! the photo treatment is spot on and I just love how you have used that stunning paper in the background! very creative and so full of life, just awesome!

Saw this in the gallery and had to take a closer look. Great job capturing the fluttering butterflies. I was at a butterfly house just after the blue morphos had hatched and they are the same with the blue and brown. It was a real challenge to capture a great shot! It is wonderful the way you used that splashy, very colorful background to capture the essence of butterflies!

@Celestine OMG, you are right, trying to get them when they landed was like trying to catch a moonbeam. Have to grab them wherever you can.;)
