Yes it is, its a mixed media piece I did for Day 8 using cut out magazine pieces, bits of old book pages and old scrapbook paper as well, all stuck down with matte medium. Very therapeutic! lol!

This is stunning, Ona. That's the best word I can use to describe my feelings. I love the way you encircled the picture of your art piece with the quote. The artsy bits on top of your picture add so much depth to your finished section. Your Week 1 and 2 meld seamlessly and I can't wait to see your completed page!

I am jealous!!! I would love to dabble in altered arts again but presently do not have the time or possibly the space to do it. Living in a one bedroom unit has its limited for having a good stash of ephemera.
I love the idea of using the mixed media piece in your layout. This is so beautiful - love the textur-ey goodness. I’m curious. How do people pull the physical mixed media into the digital layout? Do you scan it? Photo it with your phone or something more sophisticated? This look is just wonderful. I may have to play with this technique.

Thank you! ♥ Amy, I am old school and just use my DSLR camera to photograph all my finished pieces for the 100 day challenge. I only ever photograph the other stuff if I want to post them online otherwise they just stay in my various art journals. All my other pieces for my challenge are HERE, the majority of them are physical hands on projects but as you near the end of them there are some straight digital ones and a couple of hybrid ones (digital + physical stuff added). The same goes for my Week 1 page for the AJ challenge this month, it is a mixed media page for my art journal as well.
