Process
A solid paper from APP Arrive was used as the foundation for the page. Artsy Transfers Arrive_3 was opened up. The photo was clipped to large white paint layer, duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light. The layers of the AT were merged together, then duplicated, giving more definition to the image. A second photo was clipped to a fotoblendz mask, then duplicated with the blending mode changed to soft light with a reduced opacity. Transfer 3 from the kit was layered over the top of the AT, then duplicated, rotated 180º, placed at the bottom of the AT with the blending mode changed to hard light. Transfer 2 was added along the left edge near the photo of the goose. Taped textures were added. The page was completed by adding word art and dimensional embellishments.
We have a nesting pair at our pond and you have captured the spirit of them so beautifully. I love the botanical embellishment that connects the happy couple. Awesome design, as always.
How amazing and how beautifully scrapped. Love the photo and the blending is superb. I also love the reflection of the postcard words. The added elements look great and are perfectly placed. Standing O!
Our Canada geese never leave, they stay all winter, but I don't get to see them nesting. Wonderful layout! I love the simple addition of the twig to accent the photos. Congrats on your Standing O!
