September 2023 Challenge #1 - Creative Photo Editing

I dl’d BeFunky & it’s a lot of fun. I didn’t end up using it for the challenge but I’m happy to learn (probably way later than everyone) of the A.I. photo editor.

Photo is the water in the heart. I extracted the water using the photo app on my Apple device, clipped the water to the heart mask I created, blended the photo by decreasing saturation & I then overlayed the water with a darker blue & also using blending to get a blue I liked. I then overlayed with a bubble overlay, which I clipped to the heart & blended. On each overlay on the photo, I used an airbrush in areas of the water to create a bit of transparency & brighten the dolphin & mermaid elements under the water.

I drew smiles on all characters using a native pencil brush.
