Sadie Winter and Willi Denton were step-siblings that fell in love. They married 19 February 1906 in Gilmore City, Iowa. Sadly, it appears they had no children but a number of family members lived with them through the years. Will graduated as a pharmacist in 1913 and the Dentons opened their pharmacy in 1914. By 1917 it was featured in state and national publications. They operated the business until Will retired in 1954.
In this 1914 photo Sadie and younger sister Mabel Winter Wilson wear what looks like matching uniforms, leading me to believe Mabel worked in the store with them.
