Grandpa Ott morning glories are mindbendingly beautiful AND invasive as all get out in our area, but Emma and I planted them at the new/old farmhouse anyway, only this time they're confined to pots. We'll see if they jump. (I'm betting "yes.")
I used everything in the new Vagary Collection except the Artsy Layered Template. I started with the background on this layout, layering Artsy Papers #4 over #1 over #2, on color burn and overlay blend modes. Where the colors were more intense than I liked, I reduced intensity with layer masks and an artsy brush. I then placed Fotoblendz #2 and added my photo. To emphasize the flowers, I dragged in Multimedia Frame #3 from behind (later moving the frame itself up the layer stack to get the contrast of the white), and clipped a duplicate of my photo to the mask. To finish, I extended the original photo to create a trellis perspective, doing this with an iPhone extraction of the Grandpa Otts, joining the trellis bit so they would go off the page at top right for an illusion of height. I added the Word Art cluster and my journaling, amending the word cluster by turning the button into a shiny ball by clipping Artsy Transfer #3 and a FotoGlo to it. Finally, to get some more teal onto the left side of layout, I finished with an Artsy Stain.
