After attending an aA Inspo class (which run every couple of weeks), and having a layout deconstructed, I went back to make a few tweaks on my spread and it resulted in a spread that I actually like. It's a matter of looking at things with fresh eyes. I dumped two of the three pink buttons and changed the pink for gold (it started yellow, amplified it by duplicating on color burn mode), then eliminated a photo that really did nothing for the spread and substituted an oob with an Artsy Paper background, then erased part of the frame on the double frame at top right, then reinforced the botanical by sliding in a crocheted flower. To my eye, makes all the difference.
