This is our friend Johnny. Tilly LOVED Johnny. So did we. He was always helping us out around here. The photo of him on the roof, clearing a branch that fell, when Ron wasn’t feeling well. This was about a year before he died, no doubt he was feeling worse than Ron, but he helped anyway. I could do a whole book about Johnny. He was an avid and very successful hunter. He had a camper here and was at our place almost as much as at his house, and we were happy to have him, especially when the hogs were overtaking the property.
After Johnny passed in 2017, his son came over in Johnny’s hand-painted camo truck. Now Tilly will not climb up into our vehicles, she must be lifted, even though she can jump straight up about 2 ft when she wants to. But I guess she could still smell Johnny’s scent in the truck, and she climbed right up in there. She looked so sad, like she missed him too. I know Ron misses him dearly. And the sunshine coming through the windshield at just the right time was, to me, a sign, that he just might be missing us too.
I started with p4 of the template and clipped all my photos to the masks. I placed Paraiso Solid Paper 2 for the foundation. I added the journaling in the text box of the template, transformed to fit and added a 2nd text box for the rest of the journaling. I duplicated the foundation paper 2X and clipped to the masks below the text boxes. I removed the slide frame. Embellished with elements, Word ART, MultiMedia Branches, stitchez, splatters, and a couple of Tool Sets Bonus brushes from Anna’s Creative Artistry with Tool Sets Class.
