I posted the Left side in May. I'm just now getting around to finishing the double page spread. Here is where the left side is if you want to take a look:

Journaling for this side reads: Our annual gathering in May happens on Memorial Day weekend. We started this gathering several years ago because my sister, who lives in Florida, took vacation to spend the week of Memorial Day with us. Since it is a work holiday she gets an extra day off and comes in for the weekend prior to the holiday. Knowing my kids would enjoy spending time with their Aunt Kim, we made it a family weekend. The grandkids enjoy the activities in the woods.
When the weather permits (it seems to always rain at some point on this particular weekend) we gather for the lunch meal in our woods. If the weather is super, we can spend the whole day in the woods. There’s lots of buggy riding, 4-wheel riding, dirt bike riding, corn hole and horse shoe tossing.....and don’t forget the food! This year I kept it simple with hamburgers and hot dogs. Brad and Mark fixed the hamburgers and some of the hot dogs on the 2 grills. Some of the kids couldn’t wait, so they roasted their hot dogs over the fire pit. I also fixed baked beans. Dirt pudding is the favored dessert plus I fixed a lemon pudding and blueberry trifle. YUM! It did start raining after lunch, so we packed up the food and the toys and went over to Elisabeth and Brad’s so we could celebrate Hannah’s graduation and eat supper later. Unfortunately, Michael got sick and went back to the hotel with fever, chills, and a migraine. He texted me and I took him some migraine meds. He started feeling better but stayed and rested and went home early Sunday morning still a little achey and slightly feverish.
