I do rather enjoy creating collage layouts with my own twist or spin...I really liked how Rachel Jefferies "Sanguine" Collection...went so well with Maya DeGroot's "Quirkiosa No.1" 's...nature theme & colors...So I decided to put them both together in 1 layout & see how it would turn out...Right away I knew the "Owl" would be the focus...I just love! owls & this one immediately caught my eye in the store preview...I also liked the WA piece from Sanguine about "Weathering Storms" & the sweet little gold bird with his positive message to "Never Give Up"...Ties in with my..."Owl Be There For You" theme...Plus the gold edges on the WA I added...With all those natural/nature themed colors of...soft browns,greens & touches of gold...Everything just seemed right...to go together...
