White-Crowned Sparrow

Text reads: White-Crowned Sparrow, South Jetty at Fort Stevens State Park, Hammond, Oregon, May 15, 2023

Construction: I used Hearth palette solid paper #3 for the background and placed solid paper #4 on top with the blend mode Multiply at 70% opacity.
I used palette Hearth Brush #12 as a mask for the upper bird photo. I placed ArtStroke Frames No 1 #2 on top and brushed away some of the mask using Anna Blends Artsy No 6 brushes.
I placed ArtStroke Frames No 1 #5 on top.
I then placed just the mask from the frame ArtPlay Palette Hearth and clipped my second bird photo to that, masking some areas away and placing ArtStroke Frames No 1 #7 on top.
I used the Hearth palette elements Branch and Fabric, combined with the Twig (modified) and the Bird of ArtPlay Palette Remember. I added Hearth WordART Mix No 1 Wood Word “
Love” above the fabric with a drop shadow. Hearth WordART Mix No 1 Quote #1 was placed underneath the cluster at a reduced opacity.

great photos. i like the combination of grey and beige with a little bit of black in your design that is also found in the plumage. beautiful page.

Beautiful framing with the Art Stroke frames. I'm still trying to find a place for them. Love your simple word/cluster and that font is perfect. OH, and GREAT photos too!
