Text Reads: Our first time visiting Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge was a wonderful experience! Unfortunately, we were only allowed to drive the autoroute at this time of the year without getting to hike, but right off the bat, we saw Ring-necked Ducks, a species we had never seen before. March 19, 2023

Construction: I started with ArtPlay Palette Impressario Solid Paper #3, duplicating and using blend mode Linear Burn. I placed the Wood Window Frame, grouped the masks and clipped my one photo to the group. I changed the frame’s blend mode to Screen, duplicated and used Soft Light.
I added numerous transfers from the palette with a slight Hue/Saturation adjustments to better match the blue on the duck’s bills.
I added gold paint, lace, script and splatters from the palette.
The elements are all from the palette, some with a slight Hue/Saturation adjustment.
I added the Button Threadz No 6 #6 to the button on the left.
The Impressario Word Art “Good” was revised by using blending modes Screen, duplicated with Overlay. I moved the text “Life is” and changed the fill color to white.
