One of the things I enjoy the most about fantasy pages is that there are practically no rules to follow. I made the background by blending a shabby pink over a textured black one (Lighter color 88% Opacity) At first I preferred a subtle, softer blend and then decided to punch it up. I took the dark tree overlay from Make Me An Angel, enlarged it, then blended it with Vivid Light, 75% Opacity. That gave the background a lot of contrast, light, and texture to it
