Climax Mine

Our first stop was just south of Freemont Pass at a mine settling pond. We were shocked that the beautiful scenic lake was gone, but the wildflowers were thriving. We also saw more wildflowers at the Climax main site, and I enjoyed a ground squirrel who wasn't spooked by my phone's camera.

I love the use of your photos going the full width of the 2 pages. I love wildflowers and your photos look beautiful!

Beautiful wildflowers. Ground squirrels are great photo subjects. They seem to much less fearful than other creatures.

The wildflowers are indeed stunning. And glad you were there to capture the ground squirrel's "Hollywood Moment."

Love the photos of the ground squirrel, like he was posing for you. But probably looking for some tidbits to eat. Beautiful wildflowers!

So many great photos in a perfect layout. That squirrel is a scene stealer though!
