On our last day we thought the view at the top of the mountain above the town of Twin Lakes might not face east, but we took the road anyway. The views on the way up were beautiful. At the top we were delighted to see the sunrise, both of the Twin Lakes, the old mine shaft and yummy raspberries.
What a wonderful old mine shaft--you have the best and most amazing photos! I am in awe of the way you take everyday objects (like the raspberries, we have them, too) and make them so interesting. You are quite the storyteller.
