When I looked at the ArtPlay Palette Gallivant, the song by John Denver “Leaving on a Jet Plane”, kept going through my head. So I started with the lyrics and made the background text overlay of my layout. So sing the song as you look at my layout
Construction: I started with the Gallivant Artsy Layered Template. I used ArtPlay Palette Gallivant Solid Paper #4 for the background and the blended 2 layers of Solid Paper #2. I overlaid the song’s lyrics with Color Burn. The overlay was created using Font JaneAusten, rasterizing the type and grunting with one of the Gallivant brushes.
I clipped the Vicki Robinson My Man Bundle’s man-woman black & white photo to the Template’s large center paint layer. I changed it to a sepia tone and then duplicated it and changed the blending mode to Color Dodge.
I used a single map from Vintage-Map-Backgrounds-North-Sea-Studio (not in store) for all 4 frames and varied the coloring to better match the rest of the layout.
For the clusters, I used elements from the Gallivant Artplay Palette and the MultiMedia BONUS from the Collection. I added the ArtPlay Palette Riant Paper Plane.
I added Travel WordART Mix No. 3 Wood Word ” go”. The text in FontBlade are quotes from the song.
