I don't know who he is ... but think he's a relative of a relative. His picture shows up frequently in the photo album we got from my husband's mother. So I named him Victor and I do know that he lived near the Erie Canal.
Process
A solid paper from APP Strom was used as the foundation of the page. The man was extracted. A custom shadow was added. The boots were resized and layered over his feet (he was standing in the grass and I wasn't able to get a good extraction of his feet). A transfers was clipped to the boots to give them a more "worn" look. The image was duplicated, then clipped to a transfer from the kit. The image was duplicated again, blending mode changed to color burn. The image was duplicated one more (blending mode: hard light). A layer mask was added and using a black brush, the bottom half of him was hidden. Artsy Transfer Strom_5 was added, along with some splatters. MultiMedia Documents 10_4 was layered over the main image. The glasses, grass and a crown button were added. The page was completed by adding paper textures for dimension and word art.
This is fabulous! I love how the different wordART and labels surround the images and the perfectly placed glasses and Cluster. The placement of the boots is genius!!
