We took a tender from the cruise ship to Gialos harbor, commonly known as the old port of Fira. The port is primarily a tourist port now and serves the many cruise ships that arrive on the island. We decided to start our day in Oia, so we paid for a 20-euro ticket to take a shuttle boat to Ammoudi harbor.
