Wintery Chill

It isn't cold here or snowy (48 degrees and rain), but the art says what I think of as winter.

Construction: I started with the cluster made from the artPlay Palette Brumal elements and frame. I clipped a free Pixabay Image by Ioannis Ioannidis to the frame mask, changing it to a B&W.
I placed Brumal Solid Paper 5 for the background. To add a wintery texture to the background, I placed the photo on the left side above the solid paper, below the frame, masking out what I didn’t want and changing the blending to Hard Light. I then placed the horizontally flipped photo on the right side of the page, again masking out what I didn’t want and changing the blending to Hard Light.
I made a second cluster on the left side of the page using the Brumal ArtPlay Palette elements.
I added stitching from Hand Stitchez No.1 to the background (#12) and the clusters (#6 & 9).
I added Winter WordART Mix No.2 Word Transfer “Wintry” in two places under the frame with blending mode Multiply.
I used Winter WordART Mix No.2 thread ”Chill” below the frame and the Metal “Wintry” above the frame with a drop shadow to finish my layout.

This is a beautiful winter scene! I do love winter snow, and we have none either, but this year, that is ok with me. I'll enjoy your winter art!

Beautiful - I find it hard to use thick frames like this but you have used it brilliantly.
I find it hard to use the thick frames too but this was a challenge on another site to use a frame with a cluster of 3-5 elements from a kit you last downloaded. I made the cluster so I had to make a full layout, right?
