Poem:
I like early morning walks the best
when silence is in its last rest
soon enough there will abound
the cacophony of daily sounds
enshrouded in a cloak of fog
I let myself melt in like dew
knowing the elements can be friendly
when we let them be
though there is a damp chill in the air
soon sun will make all things fair
I say my thankful morning prayers
Communing with nature as I walk
I hear the birds begin to talk
I love to listen to their chatter
Just like all families discussing matters
Some sing so prettily it lifts the spirits
I'm so happy I can hear it
As the suns rays appear and warm me
I find I'm content just to be
