Inspiration – my main focus these days is getting the pictures from the camera club ready to exhibit at the local agricultural fair. So I decided to see which of the pictures I personally am going to exhibit would work with the new APP Ikigai. So I took a Black and White photo into Topaz Studio and add a “Look” that gave the picture blue tones to match the colors of Ikigai.
Start – File>New 12 inches by 12 inches 300 dpi
Frame – Added Framed Mask 10-5 above the background
Photo – I moved the picture above the mask layer and attached it to the mask using Layer>Create Clipping Mask
Paper- Placed Solid Paper 2 above the background layer.
Transfers - Moved Artsy Transfer 2 on the right edge and Artsy transfer 5 on the left edge. Placed transfer 4 above the photo and changed the Blend Mode to Overlay then attached is the transfer to the photo using Layer>Create clipping mask.
Elements – Added Multimedia Flowers 11-2 to the page. But took the butterfly and added an adjustment layer using Color lookup and then attached this just to the butterfly using Layer>Create Clipping Mask. I reduced the opacity to 58% and changed the Blend Mode to Vivid Light.
Brush – Used Brush 9 in two places near both Artsy transfers to give a little texture to the page.
Words – Used Word Art – Feels Like Yesterday for the title.
