Magic Winter Sunrise

I remember I was in my sock feet as I walked in the field to get closer to the lake, but I knew those sunrise colors came maybe a few times a year and would only last for a few minutes. As always everything took on the red glow and it was simply breathtaking before it turned into blue sky.

We have this sky only a few times a year, and I call it a December sky even if sometimes it's at a different time of year. They're mostly the best in December. But I sent my book to print mid-month before this one, and really wanted to put it in my 2021 book.
