The black and white photographs were taken on 17 September 1957, the first day I walked by myself. The two photographs of Mom and Dad sitting at the table were taken 23 July 1957 on their second wedding anniversary.
Mom and Dad had not started their habit of photographing the base before we transferred to a new base. The only photographs of Ellsworth AFB are ones of where we lived, most all are outside our house at 285 Brett Road. As first-time parents most of the photographs include me.
