We took Boy Scout Road thinking we'd soon be on old Jeep roads, but after a stop at Bellaire Lake the road looped back up to Red Feather Lakes Road. Just as we approached, a pair of herons lifted off the lake and were gone, but the view at that moment was just breathtaking.
