June Challenge # 7: Art Journaling at Oscraps

I picked a green/teal color for my page. To get the elements that I used on the page to match that color, I used a lot of different blending modes. I also used the Image>Adjustement>Hue/Saturation. The other technique that I used is one that I haven't used before, Image>Adjustments> Match Color. I selected the element layer such as the turtle and fish. Then I clicked on Match Color and selected the tail layer from the drop-down menu. That matched the color of the mermaid's tail to the turtle. I adjusted the color by using the sliders in the Image Options.
To create the mermaid, I opened the faery doll in a new document and then started to match tails from Maya's kit, mermaids. I erased some portions of the faery's legs that were showing and then added some Art Doll arms.
