Color Theory Challenge @ Joanne Brisebois Designs!! https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=35990
As always, Joanne has a creative challenge going on. This one had me using some really bright colors that I normally wouldn't choose. I started my page based on her Color Theory Walkthrough #1 https://joannebrisebois.wordpress.com/2018/02/07/color-theory-challenge-color-overlay/
I had a photo of my son's snake Timber. He is an albino garter snake who has a gorgeous pattern of yellow and lavender skin. The photo had enough that I didn't need to adjust it. My background is similar to the lavender hue in Timber's skin. I set the blend mode to Vivid light 75%. I added CT Overlay4 to Color Burn 80%. I used the small dot overlay under my photo, but I wanted an oval pattern to mimic scales. I cropped a rectangle out of the overlay and stretched it across my page, then duplicated it and placed it above the first, merging the layers when I was done. That was set to Blend Mode Overlay, 50%
