Cloche
Grandpa - Holson Wood - looks to be about 4-years old in this photo and not so happy. Maybe it was because of that hat he wore. Surely that wasn’t his hair! Aunt Vera was 3 years older and didn’t look much happier. The cloche had been around for 6 years and wouldn’t become insanely popular until the mid to late-1920s, but it looks like she was already fashionable in this darling little cloche and drop-waisted dress. Grandpa was clearly unimpressed.

The title is created with the letters C, H, and E, from Color Crush 48 with MK3 paper 06 clipped to them in various blending modes. The remainder of the title is in the Jokerman font.

The background is cyanotype 08 in Lighten mode over cyanotype 06a in Linear Dodge (add) mode with texturizer filter applied over MK3 paper 01 with texturizer filter applied.
