I adore the stacked paper in Maya's kit and used it as a starting background. On top of that I placed an overlay using one of Veronica's Damask overlays blending it into the background. On top of that I added a rectangle of the wood paper to act as a photo mat.

I gave the photo the effect of snow by clipping it to a piece of lace from Foxeysquirrel. The photo mat edges were too straight so I used a second piece of lace as a mask and cut out the photo edges. This gave me the ragged edge to the photo as well as the wood paper.

The final step was to create the cluster.
