Challenge 7 Oct 2022 Cordingley Sisters

1 photo with 1 frame
Group of 5 flowers and foliage on left – 5th flower is on the pendant
Group of 3 flowers and foliage is on the right
Pre-made inked edge
Lace doily behind cluster on left, ribbon across photo

6 papers, one ripped
Journaling reads: Sadie, named for both her grandmothers, was born to Joseph and Mary Ann Amelia “Polly” Maplethorpe Cordingley in Windhill, Idle, Yorkshire, England and came to the US with her parents aboard SS Italy arriving here 23 Apr 1883. Grace was born in Illinois in 1884 and died there in 1886 just months before Tracie was born there. Their mother died of typhoid fever 1 year later also in Illinois.

This LO was a joy – and so easy – to assemble.
Lay down the background and place the inked edge overlay.
Trim the torn paper edge template to the desired size and clip on the paper.
Place the photo and frame, then the layered papers beneath, add elements, journaling and alpha title.

I am tickled that you used the challenge to create this special heritage page. The colours are soft and feminine.. perfect for the little sisters. Well done.

Finally had a minute to give this the Standing O it deserves.
This page is the type of page that got me thinking about scrapping!
It's beautiful. Love the photo, the different paper layers, and your clusters.
