My Mum, uncle and me on the day of my Grandmother's funeral. It seems a bit strange to me that photographs were taken so I've left the journalling as Lorem Ipsum until I get the whole story from my Mum - she'll probably just say that my Dad's family were weird ...

I started with the artsy paper, so beautiful and atmospheric that I didn't want to do much to it so I just duplicated it and changed the top layer to color burn 18% to to deepen the darker tones slightly. The photograph was masked then the figures revealed with a soft brush; the photograph layer is repeated 5 times in total with two layers color burn, two overlay and one normal. I played about with different masking on each layer to give me the texture I wanted. I have added WordArt, paper textures , MM Flowers and repeated a flower element from the Ap changing the blending mode.
