I had this idea to wrap my little granddaughter as a gift by using the brush with the present box from AAP Wish! So I started out a bit different! I placed this brush as a first step and then I added a brush as a mask for the photo under it! I turned my photo to black and white and adjusted the contrast by the curves adjustment! I duplicated the photo knowing I could use it for a blending later! I painted a bit on the mask layer after I clipped the photo on it! (Do that before merging ,or else you paint on the photo) because I wanted to erase some of the mask in her face! Then I added all the transfers and brushes under the photo. I added the duplicated black and white photo enhanced with the artistic filters (Pencil, dry brush, film grain) and with some adjustments and blending I masked them in after stacking them! Its really fun to start playing just as long as you get the result you are after! My solid white paper came above this layer! Then I made a layer mask filled with black from the paper again and I masked out some of the paper with a soft white brush to show some of the transfers again! I also added a gradient above that layer to bring in some blue color! Above that layer came the little paillette brush. I gave them a bit of shadow and a bit of light with the brightness/contrast adjustment! I wanted more accent on the present box layer so I duplicated it and gave some shadow and bevel! Set the blending mode to screen! Then I added the word strip and made my text with the Biloxi Script! I added another present box brush and colored it blue. I placed it above the paper layers. I picked the color with the color pipet from the color picker to match the blue color!
