process...
I extracted the woman from the photo then, starting with the large green leaf and the twig from the new APP Fallen Blush, I began building up the background. To save time (something I seem to very short of) I used mostly the preshadowed versions of the elements. The brushes and transfers are under the elements. Most of the elements consist of two layers with one of the layers set to either multiply or color burn. The brushes and transfers are also multi-layered (first layer is usually set to normal or multiply and the second layer to multiply or color burn) to create darker colors.

The quote that Lily spouted off is from a Stephen King novel just for fun ........ a star lily is poisonous, a calla lily is not.

Thanks for looking :)
Your heritage page with your beautiful extracted Autumn Queen gives an nostalgic essence to your layout. That clustering is beyond gorgeous as it creates a perfect backdrop setting.

Amazing! Love the elegance of the extracted image and the plethora of leaves and branches! Love the quote, but after reading Salem's Lot, I gave up Stephen King. I wouldn't leave the house after dark for months!

How wonderful! Beautiful extraction, and such a creative setting! I also love how her skin and dress seem to have the faintest touch of color!

The extraction, shadow work, and hint of colour create so much dimension and really bring her to life

Wow, Wow -- look at all of your stunning details - and the fabulous extraction and placement -- Awesome ;)

Stunning design and perfect for the theme. The journaling was fun to read and couldn't help admiring her shoes. So stylish.

wow! just saw this! breathtaking, A! love the twigs and leaves you created and the faded look of her dress!

Lily's lovely! Extraordinary in every way...the extraction, journaling, and how she's perched on the gorgeous Autumn arrangement!
