December 2002 was the year of several Christmases. As always, the plans were to spend Christmas Eve at my parents, then both sets of grandparents come up on Christmas Day. Christmas Eve went as planned but a snowstorm came through at some point overnight with the forecast predicting it was only to get worse. My in-laws came up very early for breakfast but my parents decided to come the following day when the weather was going to be better. After celebrating three Christmases in a row, Caitlyn couldnt even keep her eyes open long enough to get into bed. One minute she was sitting at the table, the next thing we knew, she had crawled under her chair and was fast asleep.
