Journaling:
Devonport was a pretty English country town with wonderful views of the harbour, Auckland across the bay, and the very recognizable volcanic cone of Rangitoto Island across the channel. Devonport originally consisted of 3 volcanic cones, among them the prominent Mount Victoria, which we climbed for the views, the Pokemon gym, and the fun among the mushroom-like vents of the building below. They were not as big as me, we just played with perspective.
